HC / MC Truck Drivers Wanted – Interstate

Pilko’s Transport, a growing family-owned business based in Hastings, Victoria, is seeking dedicated Heavy Combination (HC) and Multi-Combination (MC) truck drivers to join our expanding fleet.

We operate across the entire east coast of Australia, transporting general freight from our Hastings base. While previous interstate experience is preferred, it is not essential — we are happy to train the right candidates who have the right attitude and work ethic.

This is a full-time position, with ongoing employment available following a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate HC/MC vehicles on interstate routes

- Transport general freight efficiently and safely along the east coast

- Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition

- Complete all required paperwork, documentation and delivery records

- Secure and handle freight safely and appropriately

- Comply with all road transport, fatigue management and company requirements

- Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers and other road users





- Communicate effectively with our transport team regarding deliveries, delays and any issues that arise

- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle

About You

We are looking for drivers who are:

- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused

- Hold a current HC or MC licence

- Have a positive driving history

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Physically capable of performing the requirements of the role

- Professional and respectful when dealing with customers

- Willing to travel interstate and spend time away from home when required

- Experienced in interstate transport preferred, but not essential
