About the role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Team Lead to lead and oversee a team of Finance Analysts and Accounts team members while supporting the financial performance and operational success of the organisation.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of the organisation through effective financial management, reporting, compliance, forecasting, and commercial analysis. You will provide leadership and direction to the Finance team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day finance operations and strategic initiatives.

A key component of this role is partnering with business leaders to provide financial insights that support decision-making, business growth, and operational performance.



You will make a significant contribution to financial modelling, business case development, scenario analysis, and project work, helping to evaluate opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be able to translate complex financial and accounting information into transparent, practical insights for non-financial stakeholders and build strong relationships across all levels of the business.

This is a 12-month fixed-term SCHADS Level 6 position based at our Melbourne head office.
