About the role

As a Catering Assistant at RSL LifeCare, you will be empowered to make a meaningful difference to people’s lives. In a supportive work environment, your compassion is valued and your professional development is prioritised. You will have the opportunity to:

- Work closely with the catering team and Head Chef to provide high-quality catering services for residents and their visitors
- Comply with Food Safety Standards
- Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional work environment; dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen, equipment and dining areas
- Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents, their families and visitors
- Serve residents meals and snacks ensuring the correct meals are served to residents with special dietary needs
- Build robust and productive relationships with your team to deliver a positive dining experience

- Qualifications in catering and hospitality or related work experience are beneficial but not essential. We can help you learn and develop in the role.

Requirements

- Australian Working Rights
- A mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
