Adelaide University Online (AUO) offers 100% online degrees. Programs are delivered over two distinct models:
- 10‑week periods delivered over 4 terms per year
- 6‑week periods delivered over 6 terms per year

Skills
Passion for online teaching and specialist knowledge to teach in one of the following fields:
- Business & Law
- Creative Arts, Design and Humanities
- Education, Behavioural and Social Sciences
- Engineering and Information Technology
- Health and/or Science
Core Responsibilities
- Undertake online teaching as part of the AUO teaching team
- Consult, facilitate discussions, mark assessments, and provide feedback to students
- Implement approaches that maximise the student experience and learning outcomes
- Provide academic support, mentoring and advice to students
- Act as the first point of response/contact in managing student issues or complaints
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum bachelor’s degree and relevant professional/industry work experience (10‑week courses)
- Minimum master’s or PhD (6‑week courses)
- Ability to undertake a range of teaching duties in an online environment
- Ability to actively engage and educate a diverse student group
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use the necessary digital techniques and tools for effective online teaching
- Available to work outside of normal working hours, including weekends
