About the opportunity:

Delany College is seeking a passionate and dynamic teacher trained in Secondary English, HSIE and Italian to join our collaborative team on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

For the right candidate, there is the possibility of a 1-point FIAT (Faith in Action Team) Coordinator role.

While we strongly encourage applications from teachers qualified in all three subject areas, we also welcome candidates who are qualified in one or two of these KLAs, with the flexibility to contribute across the broader curriculum as needed.

The successful candidate will:

- Be qualified to teach English, HSIE and/or Italian (Years 7–12)
- Have a strong understanding of curriculum requirements for their subject areas
- Be confident in using inquiry-based and differentiated learning strategies
- Be committed to creating inclusive and engaging learning environments
- Demonstrate effective behaviour management and positive classroom culture




- Be open to collaboration and continuous professional growth
- Be willing to contribute to co-curricular activities and the wider school life
- Ability to teach across multiple KLAs
- A passion for Catholic education and mission

Qualification & Experience:

- Tertiary qualifications in Education
- NESA Accreditation
- Statements of Service
- Working with Children Check clearance (essential)
- Exceptional communication skills

The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
