About the role

An exciting prospect exists to join KordaMentha Implementation Services as an Operations Analyst . You will be part of the KordaMentha team responsible for the day-to-day operations of Anti-money Laundering and Counter-terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) & Sanctions, as well as general operational support.

Key responsibilities

- Identity checks and verification
- Transaction monitoring
- Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD)
- Name screening & adverse media screening
- Inbound calls and customer outreach
- Detailed investigations and customer risk assessments
- Quality assurance
- UAR assessment and SMR lodgement in AUSTRAC online
- General operational support

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualifications in either Business, Commerce, Financial Services, Accounting, Law, or relevant discipline/experience.
- 1-3 years of AML/CTF experience.
- A good understanding and knowledge of AML/CTF regulations.




- Strong analytical ability.
- High attention to detail.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet agreed timelines.
- Ability to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Effective relationship building.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Additional Information

You will be working with a team of subject matter experts and will undergo our comprehensive training program, including potential opportunities to complete a formal AML/CTF qualification.
