About the Company
My client is a large global company with a very strong brand. The company has a fantastic culture, with friendly staff and low turnover. We have placed a number of lawyers in their in-house team over the years and everyone has spoken very highly of the organsation.
About the Role
My client has a large property portfolio across Australia. You will be providing advice to the company on commercial leasing, property transactions, development, planning and construction. This is a 12 month contract role.
About You
You are commercial property lawyer with strong commercial acumen and relationship building skills.
You have strong experience in commercial property purchases and sales and commercial leasing and some development experience. Ideally, you will have some prior in-house or secondment experience, but this is not essential. You have a friendly personality, are easy to get along with and have a valuable sense of humour.
Duties
- Advising on property acquisitions and sales
- Advising on commercial leasing
- Advising on risk mitigation in property transactions.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of post-admission experience in commercial property law.
- Prior in-house experience would be ideal, but not essential.
- Ability to work autonomously.
