Our Webjet Business Travel team is transforming the way organisations manage corporate travel, and we’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to help shape the future of our platform.

This is a hands-on product role where you’ll have the opportunity to own the end-to-end product journey - from identifying customer problems and defining solutions through to working closely with engineering teams to deliver meaningful improvements.

You’ll play a critical role in understanding the needs of our customers, travellers, travel arrangers, finance teams, administrators, and internal operations teams, translating those insights into scalable technology solutions that improve the overall travel experience.

This is not a traditional handover role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being close to the detail - someone who can challenge assumptions, explore problems, collaborate with engineers, contribute to solution design,

and help deliver products that create measurable impact.

What you’ll do

- Own end-to-end product execution across the Webjet Business Travel platform
- Develop a deep understanding of corporate travel workflows, customer journeys, and user personas
- Identify customer and operational challenges and translate them into clear product requirements
- Interact with customers and key stakeholders to define the right outcomes and work closely with engineering teams to define, prioritise, and deliver ideal solutions
- Create clear product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution requirements
- Participate in delivery ceremonies, including stand-ups, refinement sessions, and ongoing engineering discussions
- Build strong knowledge of our technology ecosystem, architecture, and product capabilities
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver customer-focused outcomes
- Lead customer discovery sessions and use insights to influence product direction
- Contribute to UX and solution design discussions
- Use data, analytics, and AI tools to improve decision-making, productivity, and product outcomes
- Drive improvements across conversion, adoption, efficiency, and customer experience

What you’ll bring

- 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or Technical Product Ownership roles
- Experience working with B2B SaaS,

transactional platforms, marketplaces, or complex digital products
- Strong technical understanding, ideally with an engineering or technical background
- Ability to understand APIs, integrations, and system architecture
- Strong analytical capability and comfort using data to drive decisions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working closely with engineering teams in an agile setting
- A passion for solving customer problems and delivering practical solutions
- Experience with AI tools and modern product practices is highly desirable
- Experience in travel, fintech, marketplaces, or similar industries is advantageous

How success will be measured

Success in this role will be demonstrated through:

- Delivery of high-impact product improvements
- Improved customer experience and platform adoption
- Increased conversion and operational efficiency
- Strong collaboration and execution with engineering teams
- Positive feedback from customers and internal stakeholders

About the perks

- A $250 Webjet gift card every year to put towards your own getaway
- Free travel insurance and discounts across flights, hotels, packages, and more
- Our legendary annual Hackathon - where ideas become products (within 12 months, no excuses)
- An events calendar packed with fun stuff - when we say we’re social, we mean it
- Up to 12 weeks paid primary carer leave, plus 2 weeks secondary
- Option to buy extra week of annual leave for big trips or school holidays
