McArthur is inviting expressions of interest from experienced local-government and public-sector professionals for potential upcoming temporary and contract assignments with councils across metropolitan and regional New South Wales.

To be considered for this talent pool, applicants must demonstrate relevant local-government experience. Applications without direct council experience will not progress through this expression-of-interest campaign.

We regularly support councils with specialist qualified and technical recruitment. By registering your interest, you can be considered for suitable opportunities as they become available.

- Bush regeneration, aquatic ecosystems and environmental projects
- Project reporting, budgeting and stakeholder coordination

About you

Suitable applicants may have:

- Previous experience within a NSW council, government agency or comparable public-sector organisation
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects, programs or specialist technical services
- Knowledge of relevant local-government legislation, policies, procurement requirements and governance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement, report-writing and communication skills
- Experience managing budgets, contractors, consultants, tenders, risks or project schedules
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, technical certifications or trade credentials
- Experience with systems such as TechnologyOne, Content Manager, TRIM, Pathway, VendorPanel, Tenderlink or Microsoft Project
- A current Class C driver's licence
- The ability to complete relevant police, medical, licence or pre-employment checks

Recent Australian local-government experience is essential. Applicants must have worked directly for a council or delivered relevant services to a council. NSW local-government experience will be highly regarded.
