About the role

MSS Security is seeking a casual Security Officer to join our Launceston team and service our high-profile government clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide a professional, courteous and helpful point of contact for staff and visitors, assisting with general inquiries and directions.
- Respond appropriately and promptly to incidents, emergencies or security breaches, ensuring the safety of all personnel and visitors.
- Monitor and control access points to the building, ensuring only authorised personnel are granted entry.




- Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high security standards and resolve any issues that arise.

Requirements

- Full Australian working rights.
- Valid Tasmanian Security licence.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
- Working With Vulnerable People check (or willing to obtain).
- Willing to undergo and pass a National Police Check.
- Master Licence Number: 5784
