- Based in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the Adelaide East Campus
- Full-time, continuing position
- Salary Range: Level B, $117,100 - $138,515 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate nursing academic with contemporary clinical expertise and a commitment to excellence in teaching, research and student learning.

Responsibilities

As a Lecturer, you will:

- Develop, deliver, and coordinate courses within undergraduate and postgraduate Nursing programs, supporting innovative curriculum development and contemporary teaching practices across a range of delivery modes.
- Contribute independently and as part of a team to the School of Nursing and Midwifery’s research profile through team-oriented research activities, scholarly outputs and engagement with industry and the broader health sector.
- Support Adelaide University’s teaching and research outcomes and maintain and develop professional growth.

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing and Doctoral degree qualification in a relevant health discipline.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated expertise, knowledge and a commitment to contemporary nursing practice and understanding of global and national policies and priorities in health and nursing practice.
- Demonstrated academic experience teaching students engaged in undergraduate,



preregistration and postgraduate nursing programs including curriculum development, course design and course writing that reflects pedagogical, student and professional needs and standards.
- Experience in developing a culture of teaching and learning excellence and in using a range of contemporary teaching methodologies including designing and/or using simulation and hybrid teaching technologies applied to nursing education.
- Ability to effectively interact and engage with relevant stakeholders including students, industry, government, university and community groups.
- Evidence of an emerging contribution to research activities, including a growing publication record, supervision of postgraduate coursework students and grant acquisition.
