Dowsing Group are seeking a Trainee Road Profiler / Skid Steer Operator to join our growing civil services team working across a pipeline of Local Government, council and private projects.
This role is suited to someone who wants to join a reputable contractor but lacks experience. The operator will be fully trained in our road profiling team, beginning with training on operating a skid steer with a sweeper attachment, progressing to training to operate road profiling machines. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to build a career from scratch in the civil construction industry.

Some of our services to Local Govt Councils include removal and reinstatement of footpaths/driveways/verges/kerbing, reticulation repairs, site clean and backfill using suitable materials.

Ideal Candidate
- Reliable, motivated person ready to gain new experience
- Positive attitude and willing to learn
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Prior exposure to civil construction projects (preferred but not essential)
- Current driver's licence (HR Preferred but not essential)
- Skid steer ticket (highly desirable)
- White card (essential)
