Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Development Manager to join the One Circular Quay Project on a 12‑Month Fixed Term Contract, working specifically on the Wardorf Astoria, Sydney.

Responsibilities

- Support the completion and delivery of major project milestones, including quality reviews, inspections and completion activities.
- Coordinate project stakeholders including the Hotel Owner, Operator and D&C; Contractor to ensure project obligations and deliverables are met.
- Manage governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement requirements for both the JV partner and key Hotel stakeholders.
- Oversee defect management, compliance tracking and project completion/handover processes.
- Monitor project safety performance and contribute to a strong safety culture.
- Manage consultant engagements, contract administration, invoicing and project financial reporting.




- Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to achieve key project objectives.

Qualifications

- Experience in a similar role is highly desired.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Tertiary qualification in property, construction or a related field.
- Experience collaborating with multiple people with diverse backgrounds and needs, such as external consultants or other functional teams.
- Experience managing and negotiating with stakeholders.
