About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Planning & Supply Chain Manager will lead an integrated function spanning production planning, demand planning, procurement, supplier performance, inventory management and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;). Working closely with Sales, Production, Customer Care, Finance and Product Development, you will translate customer demand into effective production and purchasing plans, ensuring materials are available to support manufacturing whilst balancing inventory investment, customer service and operational performance. Leading a small team, you will also strengthen supplier relationships, develop planning capability, drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide the reporting and commercial insights that support informed operational decision‑making. This opportunity will suit an experienced Planning or Supply Chain professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery and building strong cross‑functional relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead production planning, demand planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;).
- Drive forecasting accuracy,



inventory optimisation and working capital performance.
- Develop procurement strategies, manage key supplier relationships, and oversee procurement, inbound logistics and inventory planning activities.
- Support New Product Development through effective planning and material coordination.
- Monitor supply chain performance, analyse operational data and provide meaningful business reporting.
- Lead and develop the Planning & Supply Chain team, fostering collaboration across the wider business.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational performance and customer service.

About You

- Robust experience across production planning, demand planning and S&OP.;
- Strategic procurement and supplier relationship management capability.
- Experience improving inventory performance, reducing SLOB, enhancing forecasting accuracy and driving supply chain efficiency.
- Strong ERP/MRP systems capability together with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A practical, collaborative approach and a genuine passion for continuous improvement.
