Your Role
We currently have two ongoing hybrid Marketing Advisor opportunities within the Marketing team, supporting our growing housing portfolio. As part of Development Victoria’s Marketing team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns for our housing projects, focusing on content creation to build awareness, generate interest, and support project sales and revenue targets across a diverse portfolio of current and future developments.
We’re looking for a confident and creative marketing professional who is highly organised and relationship‑driven. You’ll be adaptable, proactive, and self‑motivated, able to balance competing priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Strong initiative, resilience, and a collaborative mindset will be key to your success. Both roles offer flexible working arrangements, blending time spent at our Melbourne CBD head office and working from home.
Core Accountabilities
- Provide input into media planning, including development of briefs, and review of research,
audience data and insights to influence media recommendations.
- Review and collate data on the performance of marketing campaigns across media channels relative to key projects and prepare relevant reports.
- Make recommendations and implement continued improvements in how we reach, engage, build and convert audiences by examining results, external information and insights from our media agency.
- Develop project content plans and craft needed content that aligns to the plan across channels, ensuring content supports the project sales and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain knowledge and to enable contribution to quality project outcomes.
- Support customer experience activities in the team to deliver improvements in customer engagement, satisfaction and referral.
Desired Skills and Experience
You’ll bring 3–5 years’ experience in a marketing role, supported by a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing or a related discipline. Exposure to the development, property or construction industry would be highly regarded. You’re a collaborative team player who builds strong relationships, works effectively with others, and can confidently self‑manage when required. You have excellent written communication skills,
with the ability to create engaging content across different platforms and audiences and translate insights into compelling marketing messages. A good understanding of data and analytics to inform and optimise marketing activity would also be advantageous.
