Position Overview
Due to continued growth, our client's water treatment and chemicals solutions business is seeking a dedicated Service Engineer for the Perth Metro area. This role combines technical expertise with customer service excellence to ensure optimal performance of water treatment systems across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site assessments, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting for water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Manage chemical dosing programs and monitor system performance across industries such as mineral processing, food and beverage, and manufacturing.
- Support the installation and commissioning of water treatment systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide clients with technical reports and recommendations for system improvements.
- Develop customised water treatment solutions for RO and membrane filtration systems systems, optimising performance and reducing costs.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure client needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Respond promptly to customer service requests and emergency situations.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all client systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or trade background
- Experience in water treatment systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Knowledge of chemical dosing programs, reverse osmosis and water quality standards in Australia
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Certification in water treatment technologies preferred.
