Are you an experienced Engineering Lead who enjoys staying hands-on while building high-performing engineering teams? I'm partnering with a growing Australian technology business that's looking for a technical leader to work closely with the CTO, lead an established engineering team, and help shape the next phase of their platform. This is an opportunity to join a business where you'll have genuine influence over engineering practices, architecture and delivery—not just people management.

What you’ll be doing:

- Leading and mentoring a cross-functional engineering team
- Remaining hands‑on with C#/.NET development
- Driving solution design and architecture decisions
- Working closely with Product, Data and executive stakeholders
- Improving engineering processes, delivery and team performance
- Helping scale a modern cloud-based platform
- C#
- .NET
- React (nice to have)
- Databricks exposure is beneficial but not essential

Qualifications





- Proven experience leading software engineering teams
- Strong .NET and Azure background
- Experience designing scalable software solutions
- Someone who enjoys mentoring engineers and building robust technical cultures
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment where priorities can evolve quickly
- Someone already leveraging AI tools as part of their day‑to‑day software development workflow
