Successful candidates should be reliable, flexible to do rostered, on call work and overtime pay and have a passion for driving large vehicles.

Due to our ongoing expansion in the market, we have opportunities for Road and Site Sweeper Operators based at our depot in Hoppers Crossing. Help maintain the streets of Melbourne and suburbs, particularly the areas around Hoppers Crossing, both day and night shifts.

Previous Sweeper Operator experience is great. But if you don’t have this but you do have truck driving skills and a willingness to learn ... all good! We can provide the training. Easy!

Okay, what are the Responsibilities of the Role?

- Performing of all required road and site sweepingduties as scheduled
- Performing any general labouring duties that may be required
- Ensuring road sweeping work meets the standards of management and the expectations of customers
- The completionof site inductions and accreditation with respect to customer sites
- Performing all required start-up, wash-down end of shift and routine maintenance procedures
- Maintain compliance to safety standards and National Heavy Vehicle legislation

To be great at this role, you have...

- Minimum of 2 years Truck driving experience (council garbage truck, dual steering experience is a bonus) and ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Have a currentVictorian MR licence orhigher and a White Card
- Be able to work independently
- Display a sense of urgency, reliability and punctuality inyour work
- Pride in vehicles and their maintenance
- Be willingto work varied and flexible hoursincluding weekend work (essential)
- Have a good energy and fitness level
- Continuous safety focus
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen
