About the Role

We are looking for experienced Pathology Collectors to service the Armidale, NSW area.

Casual positions available.

Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's and Holter monitoring.

Skills and Experience

Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method

Minimum 6 months venepuncture experience is required using the vacutainer method.





- Collection of blood and other samples from patients in residential homes and aged care facilities.
- Experience in ECGs and Holter monitors
- Processing of Pathology Specimens
- Ability to work alone and as part of a busy team
- Clerical duties and Process paperwork
- Current NSW driver licence
- Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients
- Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery
- Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to priorities and work under pressure
- Comply with Work Health and Safety

Training will be provided for ECGs and Holter monitor procedures.

It is a requirement that a current working with children check, and police clearance is provided upon commencement of employment.
