Technical Business Analyst | Melbourne | 6-Month Contract

We're looking for 2 experienced Technical Business Analysts to join a major enterprise transformation program in Melbourne.

This is an excellent chance for a BA who is equally comfortable working with business stakeholders and highly technical engineering teams.

Responsibilities

- Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements
- Produce BRDs, user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria
- Partner with Product, Architecture and Engineering teams to deliver scalable technical solutions
- Analyse system integrations, APIs and data flows
- Support solution design, SIT, UAT and release activities
- Work within a fast-paced Agile delivery environment

Qualifications

- 8+ years' Business Analysis experience within enterprise environments




- Strong understanding of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and REST APIs
- Experience defining API and integration requirements
- Ability to interpret technical architecture and solution designs
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Experience with Agile delivery, Jira, Confluence and Postman
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Nice to have

- Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, API Gateway or BigQuery
- Kafka or Event-Driven Architecture
- Experience within Postal, Logistics or Supply Chain
