Mango Hill Tavern is looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Duty Manager to join our leadership team. Located in Mango Hill, our recently renovated venue features a vibrant bistro, spacious sports bar, gaming room, alfresco deck, family-friendly play area and a thriving functions business. With live entertainment, major sporting events and private functions, no two days are the same. If you’re passionate about hospitality, lead from the front and thrive in a quick-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Leading day-to-day venue operations across food, beverage, gaming and functions.
- Delighting guests by delivering exceptional experiences and maintaining high service standards.
- Coaching, developing and motivating the front-of-house team.
- Supporting labour management, venue presentation and operational compliance.
- Managing bookings, private functions and key trading periods.
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Assisting with cash management, revenue reporting and end-of-day reconciliation.
- Working closely with the Venue Manager to drive operational success.

Qualifications

- A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to building a long-term career.
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager or similar leadership role.
- Strong food, beverage and functions experience.




- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Sound understanding of cash handling, revenue reporting and venue operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in resolving guest concerns.
- Effective labour management and rostering experience.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Current RSA & RSG certificates (RMLV highly regarded or willingness to obtain).
