Super Steel Australia is a leading steel supplier based in Coopers Plains, proudly servicing customers across South East Queensland. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Bandsaw Operator / Yardperson to join our warehouse team.

About the Role

This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for processing steel, preparing customer orders, and assisting with general warehouse operations to ensure products are delivered safely and on time.

Your Responsibilities

- Operate bandsaws and other steel processing equipment to cut steel to customer specifications.
- Set up machinery, select appropriate blades, and adjust cutting parameters.
- Perform steel processing tasks including drilling and cropping.
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for collection and delivery.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Receive, inspect and store incoming stock.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.




- Work as part of a close-knit team while following all workplace health and safety procedures.

About You

You’ll be someone who enjoys physical work and takes pride in producing quality results.

Ideally you will have:

- Previous experience operating a bandsaw or steel processing equipment (preferred but not essential).
- Warehouse or yardperson experience.
- A current Forklift Licence (LF) or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to accurately read measurements and job sheets.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a positive team attitude.
- Reliable work ethic with a commitment to safety.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
