Overview

The SportWest Project Officer is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of Best on Road Live. The position also supports the broader Best on Road program suite and contributes to other Strategic Projects and Capability areas, including Industry Workforce Capability, Innovation & Research, and Women of Sport.

Responsibilities

- Lead the execution of live activations of Best on Road Live, ensuring high‑quality engagement with participants, stakeholders and communities.
- Activate events at sporting venues outside of traditional business hours and coordinate logistics across regional Western Australia.
- Engage with industry partners to support other Best on Road initiatives.
- Assist with delivery of other Strategic Projects & Capability initiatives and support large‑scale SportWest projects.

Qualifications

- Outgoing personality, reliable and qualified.
- Previous road safety education or behaviour change experience is not required.

Contract

This is a fixed‑term contract role in line with Government funding for the Best on Road program, ending 30 June 2028. Extension beyond this term is possible pending additional funding.
