About the Role

As the engineering team continues its modernisation journey, they’re looking for a Software Engineer to join a collaborative product team building scalable cloud applications while helping evolve a large legacy platform into a modern microservices architecture. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 3+ years of commercial experience who wants to broaden their technical exposure and work across both greenfield development and modernisation projects.

Responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining applications using C#/.NET and React
- Building new features across web-based products
- Contributing to the migration from a legacy monolith to a microservices architecture
- Working with Azure cloud services and modern engineering practices
- Writing and optimising SQL queries across SQL Server and PostgreSQL




- Collaborating with Product, Engineering and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software
- Supporting existing platforms while helping shape the next generation of products

Qualifications

2+ years of commercial software engineering experience

Required Skills

- Robust experience with C#/.NET
- Exposure to Azure or another public cloud platform
- An interest in modern software architecture and engineering best practices
