We are seeking a skilled & experienced Caseworker to join our Integrated Domestic Family Violence Services (IDFVS) team on the Central Coast. The team supports women and children in escaping and recovering from violence and abuse, providing practical and emotional assistance to victim–survivors and those who have escaped abusers.

About The Role

The main objective of the role is to provide effective, flexible, client‑centered, trauma‑informed, high‑quality case management and coordination services to clients of the IDFVS program. The role will support the whole family approach, including assisting users of violence in accessing appropriate supports to address their use of violence. Direct support, safety audits, safety planning, advocacy, and education will be provided to women with or without children planning to stay, leave, or escape a violent relationship.

This is a permanent full‑time position (5 days a week) based in Tuggerah with travel across the Central Coast visiting families in their homes or in the community. After successful completion of a 6‑month probation period, a work‑from‑home option is available.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high‑quality, short‑term, comprehensive case management to support victim‑survivors through individualized case plans.
- Complete comprehensive safety and risk assessments.
- Provide support through advocacy, safety planning, and collaboration with other services.
- Provide timely intake and triage assessment.
- Facilitate group sessions on domestic violence education.
- Develop and foster strong relationships with relevant external stakeholders and community groups, including NSW Police, Department of Communities and Justice NSW Health, and others.




- Maintain professional records, reporting, and information sharing in compliance with NSW Privacy and Confidentiality, Child Protection, and Safer Pathway obligations.

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or an equivalent field.
- A diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in case management, working with victims of domestic family violence.
- Demonstrated practice experience with current Child Protection and domestic & family violence legislation.
- Strong networking and advocacy skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to provide respectful advocacy in high‑pressure situations with competing agendas.
- Capacity to manage crisis or safety situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Possession of a NSW Driver’s Licence and an insured vehicle.
