Case Manager – Family Preservation & Restoration

Responsibilities

- Deliver intensive case management and therapeutic support to vulnerable children and families.
- Complete comprehensive assessments, case plans and interventions using the Parents Under Pressure (PuP) framework.
- Conduct regular home visits to assess safety, wellbeing and family progress.
- Build strong partnerships with DCJ, carers and community agencies.
- Maintain high-quality case documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare, Community Services, Social Science or a related discipline.
- Experience working with vulnerable children, young people and families.
- Demonstrated assessment,



counselling and case management skills.
- Knowledge of child protection legislation and family preservation practices.
- Current NSW Driver Licence.
- Current Working With Children Check.

Preferred

- Two or more years’ experience within child protection, family preservation or out-of-home care.
- Experience working with DCJ.
- Willingness to undertake accreditation as a Parents Under Pressure (PuP) Therapist.
- Robust stakeholder engagement and report writing skills.
