Responsibilities

- Acting as the primary technical liaison with clients, ensuring clear communication of scope, progress, risks, and technical direction.
- Defining and documenting project scope and requirements in collaboration with clients and internal teams, ensuring feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
- Translating client needs into actionable technical specifications and guiding delivery across the full project lifecycle.
- Estimating work, developing project plans, and coordinating resourcing and procurement of materials and services in collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Leading cross‑functional teams by setting a clear technical vision, reviewing product architecture, and promoting an integrated approach to development.
- Identifying technical risks and dependencies early, working with the project team to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
- Overseeing testing, validation, and compliance to ensure products meet technical and quality standards.
- Working closely with project coordinators to monitor scope, budget, and timeline adherence, recommending changes where needed to ensure project and client success.
- Anticipating details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.

Qualifications

- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a working visa.
- A relevant qualification from a reputable education organisation (e.g., Bachelor of Electrical Engineering).
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management or product lead role.
- Extensive leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 & 9001 regulatory requirements pertaining to product development.




- Understanding of a variety of production/manufacturing processes.
- Experience in communicating with and evaluating local and offshore suppliers.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
