About the Role

We’re looking for a Part-Time Retail Sales Assistants to join our fun, high-energy team. This role offers approximately 15-25 hours per week with a flexible roster that includes weekends, public holidays, and school holiday peaks - perfect for students, parents, or anyone seeking balanced retail work.

You’ll help deliver the signature Hello Kitty experience through warm customer service, creative merchandising, and team collaboration in our bright, themed store.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver friendly, engaging customer service and drive sales of Hello Kitty and Sanrio merchandise.

- Share product knowledge and help customers find the perfect gifts, apparel, plushies, and collectibles.

- Assist with visual merchandising, stock replenishment, store presentation, and maintaining high standards.

- Process transactions accurately at POS and contribute to a fun, welcoming shopping environment.

- Work collaboratively with the team and support the adjacent Hello Kitty Café during busy periods.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

- Previous retail or customer service experience (especially in fashion, gifts, or themed retail) - highly regarded but not essential.

- An outgoing, bubbly, and energetic personality that shines in a cute, high-energy store environment.

- A genuine passion for Hello Kitty / Sanrio characters or the ability to deliver warm, engaging, and fun customer experiences.

- A strong team-player mindset - helpful, positive, collaborative, and committed to "minna nakayoku."

- Availability for weekends, public holidays, and peak trading periods.

- Reliability, strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail (stock management, merchandising, and transactions).

- Competitive pay under the General Retail Industry Award (Level 1-2 rates) - approximately $28-$35+ per hour (including penalties for weekends/evenings/public holidays, depending on experience and shifts).
