Flocon Engineering is a family-owned and operated company that has been designing and manufacturing specialised road maintenance equipment for more than 50 years. We supply high-quality equipment to local councils, state road authorities and government organisations throughout Australia.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Hydraulic & Pneumatic Fitter to join our manufacturing team.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on role working on the assembly of current road maintenance equipment, as well as servicing, diagnosing and repairing existing customer units.

Your duties will include:

- Installing and fitting hydraulic and pneumatic systems on new equipment.
- Installing hydraulic pumps, valves, motors, cylinders, hoses and fittings.
- Installing pneumatic valves, air lines, air tanks, regulators, fittings and control components.
- Reading hydraulic, pneumatic and engineering drawings.
- Testing, commissioning and fault‑finding hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Repairing and servicing customer equipment.
- Working closely with our fabrication, electrical and engineering teams.




- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and workplace safety.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- Trade qualifications as a Hydraulic Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Fitter or similar.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read hydraulic, pneumatic and engineering drawings.
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
- A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver's licence.

Experience working on heavy vehicles, mobile plant, road maintenance equipment or specialised machinery will be highly regarded.
