The Opportunity

This role provides an opportunity to manage and deliver a diverse portfolio of building and civil infrastructure projects across urban Darwin, regional centres and remote communities.

You will work across projects such as housing, commercial buildings, community facilities, land development and civil infrastructure, with responsibility for coordinating projects from planning and procurement through to construction and completion.

The role is primarily based in our Darwin office and includes periodic travel to regional and remote project locations. It offers:

The Company

We are a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering, design and project management consultancy. We are known for delivering high-quality engineering and project management services, with our work including urban and regional land development, housing and civil infrastructure for private and public sector clients.

Our project management team supports clients through project planning, feasibility, scoping, design, procurement, construction and completion. We deliver projects across Darwin, regional centres and remote locations, including civil infrastructure, housing, commercial buildings, and community facilities.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage and coordinate client facing projects across the civil infrastructure and building sectors. Key responsibilities include:

- Planning,



coordinating and monitoring projects from initiation through to completion
- Managing building, infrastructure and community development projects
- Support clients throughout project delivery by providing clear guidance, practical advice and responsive assistance
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors and authorities
- Preparing and maintaining project management plans, programs, budgets, risk registers and reports
- Coordinating design, approvals, procurement and construction activities
- Preparing procurement and contract documentation
- Administering contracts and monitoring contractor performance
- Identifying project risks, issues and opportunities and implementing appropriate responses
- Managing competing project objectives and providing practical advice to clients
- Coordinating staff within integrated project teams to ensure effective collaboration, clear responsibilities and aligned project delivery.
- Manage and coordinate subconsultants to ensure their services are aligned, timely and integrated with project requirements.
- Monitoring project progress, expenditure, quality and compliance
- Undertaking site visits, inspections and project meetings in urban, regional and remote locations
- Preparing fee proposals, scopes of work and supporting project estimates.

reporting and quality assurance requirements

Key Skills & Attributes

You will ideally have:

- Experience managing building, civil infrastructure, construction or community development projects
- A qualification in project management, engineering, construction management, architecture or a related discipline
- Experience working across project planning, design, procurement and construction phases
- Knowledge of project and contract management principles
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage programs, budgets, resources and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, consultants and contractors
- Strong problem-solving, risk management and decision-making capabilities
- A practical, accountable and delivery-focused approach
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness and ability to travel to regional and remote project locations when required
- A current Australian driver licence
