SwiftCruit is seeking a senior-level enterprise architect to join their North Sydney office and shape the technical direction of their AI-powered platform for workforce and financial management. This position requires deep expertise in both traditional enterprise systems and modern AI agent frameworks. You will work onsite to design scalable solutions that serve a Fortune 500 customer base while advancing the company's mission to improve how organizations manage their most critical resources.

What you’ll do
- Architect enterprise-grade solutions that integrate AI agent capabilities with existing workforce and financial management systems, ensuring these implementations meet the performance and reliability standards expected by Fortune 500 clients.
- Design and oversee the implementation of distributed systems using cloud infrastructure across AWS and Google Cloud Platform, making strategic decisions about service selection, data flow, and system boundaries.
- Lead the technical strategy for incorporating large language models and generative AI technologies into production applications, working with frameworks such as LangGraph to build intelligent automation workflows.
- Establish architectural patterns and standards for web application development that span the full stack, from frontend interfaces through backend services to data persistence layers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate and select appropriate technologies for load balancing, networking, and infrastructure management across Unix-based environments.
- Define integration strategies for connecting with Salesforce and other third-party enterprise platforms using both modern REST APIs and legacy SOAP-based web services.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, conducting architecture reviews and ensuring adherence to established patterns and best practices.
- Work directly with product and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into feasible technical designs that balance innovation with practical delivery constraints.
- Monitor and optimize system performance across the technology stack, identifying bottlenecks in application servers like Apache and recommending infrastructure improvements.
- Drive the adoption of machine learning capabilities within the platform, evaluating use cases where predictive models or intelligent agents can deliver measurable value to customers.
Requirements
- Extensive qualified experience designing and implementing enterprise architecture solutions at scale, with a proven track record of delivering systems that support large user bases and complex business processes.
- Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript, with the ability to write production-quality code and review implementations for architectural soundness.
- Deep understanding of web technologies including HTML and CSS, with knowledge of how frontend architecture decisions impact user experience and system performance.
- Demonstrated expertise with cloud platforms, specifically Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform, including hands‑on experience with compute, storage, networking, and managed services.
- Solid foundation in Unix system administration and operations, with the ability to troubleshoot issues across the infrastructure stack.
- Practical experience configuring and optimizing Apache web servers and understanding of how application servers fit within broader system architectures.
- Working knowledge of load balancing techniques and networking concepts essential for building highly available distributed systems.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications using SOAP‑based web services and understanding of the challenges involved in maintaining legacy integration points.
- Current knowledge of AI agent frameworks and tools such as LangGraph, with understanding of how to architect systems that incorporate autonomous or semi‑autonomous intelligent components.
- Familiarity with large language model capabilities and limitations, including practical experience implementing generative AI features in production environments.
- Background working with or integrating Salesforce platforms, understanding the architectural patterns and constraints of the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Experience with machine learning workflows and the infrastructure requirements for training, deploying, and monitoring ML models in production.
