Associate – Melbourne (Full Time, 24‑month Fixed Term)

About The Prospect

As an Associate in our Advisory team, you’ll support Investment Advisers in delivering exceptional service to high net worth and ultra high net worth clients.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working closely with clients, and being part of a collaborative, values‑driven environment.

Your Responsibilities

- Manage onboarding of new clients, account openings, and day‑to‑day portfolio administration.
- Coordinate key client activities including cash and stock transfers, corporate actions, margin calls, settlements, and international trading.
- Prepare meeting materials, investment proposals, pitch documents and review packs for Investment Advisers.
- Maintain accurate client files and records within Avaloq, ensuring compliance standards are met.
- Liaise daily with clients,



internal teams and external providers to resolve queries and deliver a seamless service experience.
- Proactively monitor key client milestones such as annual reviews, documentation updates and risk profile renewals.
- Assist in coordinating client functions and marketing events.

About You

- 2+ years’ experience in wealth management or a similar client‑facing financial services role.
- Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine client‑first mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with a proactive, resourceful and solutions‑oriented approach.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
