About the Role

Business Development Manager – Technology Solutions

Covetrus is a global animal‑health technology and services leader dedicated to empowering veterinary practice partners to drive improved health and financial outcomes. We bring together products, services, and technology into a single platform that connects our customers to the solutions and insights they need to work best. In the Technology Solutions group, we are scaling our cloud‑based Practice Information Management System (PIMS), Ascend, across the veterinary market. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to take ownership of a high‑impact role and drive meaningful growth across your territory.

Responsibilities

- Action leads generated through our CRM, website, and email campaigns.
- Proactively contact customers from inbound leads and arrange product demonstrations.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including closing deals and negotiating terms.
- Connect with key stakeholders across the Provet distribution business to foster collaboration and share leads.
- Review key lead and lag metrics to track performance and measure success.
- Meet and exceed defined sales and revenue targets.
- Represent Covetrus at key industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a Business Development Specialist.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in sales and business development, ideally within the technology or SaaS industry.
- Motivated, driven,



and resilient personality with a strong desire to succeed.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on results.
- Some people‑leadership experience (preferred but not essential).
