Roster Coordinator – Centralised Rostering

Location: Bull Creek, WA. Permanent, full time opportunity with market-competitive salary, salary packaging and super.

Due to an internal move, we’re seeking a passionate and forward‑thinking Roster Coordinator to join our centralised rostering hub at the Air Force Memorial Estate in Bull Creek. In this role, you’ll help ensure services across WA are staffed efficiently and effectively in line with RAAFA’s core values.

Operational Hours : 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with rotating evening, weekend, and public holiday on‑call roster.

About the Role

- Develop and maintain accurate fortnightly rosters using Optima, ensuring compliance with Awards, Enterprise Agreements and relevant legislation.
- Support the delivery of safe and consistent care by ensuring the right skill mix and staffing levels are in place.
- Act as the first point of contact for staff leave requests, shift allocation and onboarding/orientation coordination.
- Work closely with Managers and Recruitment to proactively identify roster gaps and reduce reliance on agency staff.
- Ensure rosters align with mandated care minutes,



funding requirements and budget targets.
- Maintain accurate records for auditing purposes.
- Partner with People & Culture to keep staff training, competencies and compliance requirements up to date.

About You

- Previous rostering or workforce coordination experience, ideally within aged care, healthcare or community services.
- Understanding of aged care compliance requirements, including Awards and workforce regulations.
- Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with managers and staff.
- High attention to detail, particularly for compliance, reporting and record‑keeping.
- Experience with Optima or similar rostering systems is highly regarded.
