DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Implant Coordinator in Melbourne.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and execute export, import, domestic, AOG (Aircraft on Ground), critical, and routine shipments, including collections and final‑mile delivery.
- Monitor inbound, outbound, and cross‑trade shipments, ensuring on‑time performance agreements are met and milestones are accurately recorded in operational systems.
- Proactively manage delays, follow up on missing freight or documentation, communicate exceptions to customers, and elevate issues where required.
- Ensure shipments are customs cleared prior to delivery and support tracing activities for missing or delayed cargo.
- Respond efficiently to customer enquiries and provide shipment status updates through regular communication and stakeholder meetings.




- Utilise multiple systems and tools (including CargoWise One, Tango, MS Office and other logistics platforms) while supporting additional tasks as directed by the Manager.

Qualifications

- Solid customer service focus with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in managing time‑critical and sensitive situations.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance requirements, and authorities impacting freight operations.
- High level of business acumen, cost awareness, numeracy skills, and attention to detail.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and logistics systems, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Relevant industry experience and/or a combination of education and experience; Dangerous Goods knowledge is advantageous.
