- Salary $120,000 – $150,000 depending on experience

Due to continued expansion we are looking for a Systems Engineer with skills in Systems Engineer, Infrastructure, Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, Virtualisation, Networking and Cloud to help us continue delivering excellent results.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Systems Engineer you will manage and maintain server, virtualisation and cloud infrastructure, administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and Microsoft Cloud services, and monitor network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, wireless and VPNs.



You will deliver infrastructure projects such as upgrades, migrations and deployments, troubleshoot complex escalations, manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure all work meets site safety and operational requirements. You will balance periods of onsite delivery with remote administration, monitoring and change management while building trusted relationships with stakeholders.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…..

- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or Senior Systems Administrator
- Strong hands-on skills across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory and Entra ID
- Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless, firewalls and VPNs
- Experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience managing backup, disaster recovery and monitoring solutions
- Ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands and own issues through to resolution
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
- Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel to client sites

IT’S NICE TO HAVE…..

- Current Coal Board Medical (CBM) and/or Standard 11 induction
- Experience with Halo PSA or similar platforms
- Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-800/801 or equivalent)
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Ninja RMM and Auvik
- A genuine interest in solving complex infrastructure problems and continuous improvement
