Forklift Co is a family owned forklift & telehandler hire, sales and service business based in Luscombe, Gold Coast. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Hand to join our team.

Whether you already have yard experience or you're looking to start a new career, we'd love to hear from you. No forklift industry experience is required. If you're reliable, hardworking and willing to learn, we'll teach you the rest.

This is a full time, Monday to Friday role where no two days are the same. You'll be working with quality equipment, learning new skills and becoming an important part of a close knit team.

What you'll be doing

- Washing, detailing and preparing forklifts for hire and sale
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Operating forklifts (training provided if required)
- Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe
- Assisting our workshop technicians
- Collecting and delivering parts and equipment
- Moving equipment around the yard
- Stock control and general yard duties





About you

You’ll be someone who:

- Has a current Australian Driver's Licence (C Class)
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in your work
- Enjoys hands on, physical work
- Has a positive attitude and wants to learn
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Has good attention to detail
- Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia

An LF Forklift Licence or mechanical aptitude is an advantage, but not essential.
