As we continue to expand our specialised Family Law practice, we are seeking an experienced Associate to join our team and work alongside experienced Principals on a broad range of sophisticated family law matters.

About the Role

You will manage a diverse portfolio of family law matters while working closely with senior practitioners on complex and rewarding cases, including:

- Property settlements and financial disputes.

- Parenting and children's matters.

- Divorce and separation.

- Binding Financial Agreements.

- Spousal maintenance applications.

- Child support and Binding Child Support Agreements.

- Family violence intervention order proceedings.

- Mediation, dispute resolution and court appearances.

Experience in Wills & Estates or estate-related family law matters will be viewed favourably.

This role offers direct client contact, exposure to high-quality matters and genuine opportunities to develop your career within a collaborative and supportive team.

About You





You will be a motivated practitioner who enjoys working closely with clients and delivering practical, strategic legal advice.

Ideally, you will possess:

- A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD).

- An unrestricted Victorian Practising Certificate.

- Admission to the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.

- A minimum of four years' post-admission experience practising in Family Law.

- Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.

- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.

- The ability to manage files independently while contributing to a cooperative team environment.
