Petcover Aust Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Claims Consultant to join our dynamic team in Tullamarine, VIC. As a Claims Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and efficiently processing insurance claims for our valued pet owners. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

- Reviewing and assessing insurance claims to ensure they are valid and accurate
- Communicating with customers to gather any additional information required to process claims
- Coordinating with veterinary providers and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely resolution of claims
- Providing clear and transparent updates to customers throughout the claims process
- Identifying and escalating any complex or suspicious claims for further investigation




- Maintaining detailed records and documentation to support the claims handling process
- Continuously improving processes and procedures to enhance the customer experience

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience in a customer service or claims handling role, preferably within the insurance industry
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to accurately review and assess claims
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders
- Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically to identify and address any issues or discrepancies
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a genuine interest in the pet insurance industry
- Cert IV Veterinary nursing
