About the role

We are seeking a Qualified Cabinet Maker to join our growing team at our Dandenong, Victoria facility. This is a full-time position offering an excellent prospect to work on diverse projects ranging from custom cabinetry to bespoke joinery installations. As a Cabinet Maker, you will play a vital role in bringing design concepts to life, working with precision and attention to detail to create exceptional pieces that exceed client expectations. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for quality craftsmanship and delivering projects on time and to specification.

Key responsibilities

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to plan and execute cabinet making projects

Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively

Cut, shape, assemble and finish timber and composite materials to precise measurements

Construct cabinet frames, doors, drawers and other components using appropriate joinery techniques

Fit and install hardware such as hinges, handles, locks and drawer slides

Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure standards are met





Collaborate with the design and installation teams to resolve technical issues and ensure client satisfaction

Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment, adhering to health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

A recognised qualification in Cabinet Making or equivalent woodworking trade qualification

Minimum 3 years' professional experience in cabinet making or bespoke joinery

Proficiency with woodworking machinery including saws, routers, sanders and joiners

Knowledge of traditional and contemporary joinery techniques

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship

Physical capability to lift, carry and manoeuvre materials and completed pieces safely

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Excellent time management and ability to meet project deadlines

Current White Card (General Construction Induction) or willingness to obtain one

Own Tools

Drivers Licence
