Client Service & Collections Officer | North Sydney

We’re partnering with a well-established, independent Australian business based in North Sydney, renowned for theirexpertise in asset and equipment finance. Specialising in helping businesses fund key assets such as IT equipment, vehicles, and office fit-outs, this organisation is in an exciting phase of growth and is expanding theirclient service and collections team.

This is a phone-based position, focusing on building strong B2B client relationships while ensuring timely payments. It’s a service-led collections role where you’ll engage with B2B clients through friendly reminders and check-ins, prioritising relationship management over hard collections.

Requirements:

- You’ll be the first point of contact for client queries, offering friendly and prompt support via email and phone.
- You’ll reach out to clients with overdue accounts, helping them stay on track while maintaining positive relationships.
- You’ll keep customer accounts up to date, ensuring all records are accurate and organised.
- You’ll provide weekly updates on arrears, helping the team stay informed and proactive.




- You’ll build ongoing relationships with both internal colleagues and external clients, contributing to a smooth and collaborative working environment.

Experience Required:

- Previous experience in collections or accounts receivable is highly desirable.
- Experience in a contact centre or phone based role
- Excellent communication skills, with a professional and confident approach to phone-based interactions.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent attention to detail.
