About the Role

We are currently seeking Active Night Disability Support Workers to support a participant on the Gold Coast. The participant requires support from someone who is patient, respectful and considerate of her religious and cultural beliefs.

This is an active night position, meaning you will remain awake for the duration of the shift while providing ongoing support, monitoring and assistance as required.

We're looking for someone who is:

- A non-smoker
- Calm, proactive and able to take initiative
- Kind, reliable and dependable
- A strong communicator
- Comfortable working independently overnight
- Attentive, observant and able to respond to changing support needs

Key Responsibilities

- Provide active overnight support and monitoring throughout the shift




- Assist with personal care and overnight routines as required
- Respond promptly to participant needs during the night
- Maintain a secure, calm and supportive environment
- Complete accurate documentation and detailed handover notes
- Report any incidents or concerns in line with company procedures

Requirements

- Previous disability support experience (active night experience highly regarded)
- Qualification in Disability, Individual Support or Community Services (preferred)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
- Current National Police Check
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred)
- Compassionate, patient and positive attitude

Shifts Available: Active Night Shifts

Pay: In accordance with the SCHADS Award and based on experience and qualifications.
