Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Integration .NET Developer to support the development of integrations for a major finance transformation project. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions for an existing .NET/SQL application, working closely with business analysts, technical leads, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
- Build and support integrations between multiple enterprise systems, including two-way data interchange.
- Develop RESTful APIs and work with JSON, XML, and modern integration patterns.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following development best practices.
- Develop unit tests and support CI/CD deployment processes.
- Participate in code reviews, issue resolution, and technical troubleshooting.
- Contribute to technical architecture, application design,
and solution documentation.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes.
- Perform additional software development tasks as required to support project delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience in C#/.NET development.
- 5+ years' experience building and supporting system integrations.
- Experience integrating two or more enterprise applications, including bi-directional integrations.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET 6+.
- Experience developing REST APIs and working with JSON, XML, and integration patterns.
- Experience with Git, source control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong unit testing experience.
- Experience using JIRA or similar issue tracking tools.
- Experience working closely with Business Analysts during requirements gathering and solution design.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, application development, and solution design.
Desirable Skills
- Experience developing desktop applications using WPF/XAML or up-to-date web applications (SPA).
- Understanding of Dependency Injection and modern design principles.
- Experience with continuous integration and automated testing.
- Ability to read and produce technical documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, and database models.
- Understanding of multi-tier application architecture, including presentation, business, service, and data layers.
- Knowledge of Windows server environments, virtual machines, web servers, databases, DNS, and service accounts.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of application and infrastructure security best practices.
