We're looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Assistant to join our team. This is a hands‑on role that plays an important part in keeping our yard organised, our fleet presented to a high standard, and our customers receiving the quality service we're known for.
About the Role
As a Yard Assistant, you'll be responsible for ensuring equipment is clean, organised and ready for transport or hire.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Washing and detailing access equipment
- Assisting with loading and unloading trucks
- Organising and maintaining the yard
- Conducting basic pre-hire checks
- Refuelling and charging equipment
- Assisting drivers and workshop staff as required
- Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient work environment
- General yard maintenance and housekeeping
This is an active role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a busy team.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and enjoys hands‑on work
- Takes pride in keeping things clean and organised
- Safety conscious with positive attention to detail
- Positive, hardworking and willing to help wherever needed
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
Essential
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights
Desirable
- Forklift Licence
- HR or MR Truck Licence
- Experience in a yard, transport, construction or hire industry
Previous experience isn't essential—we're happy to train the right person with the right attitude.
