BAE Systems Australia invites applications for a Pipefitter Apprenticeship at Osborne Naval Shipyard as part of the Hunter Class Frigate Program. The program starts in February 2027 and offers hands-on experience rotating through the shipyard while completing a Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Pipefitting).
You will fabricate and install spools, learn MIG/TIG/STICK welding, and develop fitting and fabrication skills in a state-of-the-art workshop and ship workplace.
