The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Telemarketer to join our Lead Generation team.

This is a senior lead generation role focused on identifying commercial solar and battery opportunities, speaking directly with business owners and nurturing prospective customers through consistent, professional follow-up.

Commercial opportunities do not always convert after the first conversation. We believe the fortune is in the follow-up, so we need someone who understands solar, builds strong relationships and confidently progresses opportunities until the customer is ready to meet with our Field Sales team.

With 3% commission paid ON TOP of wages, this role offers significant earning potential for someone who can consistently identify and nurture quality opportunities.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

- Making outbound calls to businesses across Queensland and New South Wales
- Speaking directly with business owners and key decision-makers
- Identifying commercial solar and battery opportunities
- Qualifying customers based on their energy usage, site and business requirements
- Explaining the value of an obligation-free commercial energy assessment
- Booking high-quality appointments for our Field Sales Consultants




- Collecting electricity bills, interval data and other required information
- Building, nurturing and managing a strong pipeline of prospective customers
- Following up consistently by phone and email
- Re-engaging customers when opportunities have stalled
- Maintaining accurate customer information and clear next steps in Zoho CRM
- Working closely with our Field Sales team as opportunities progress
- Contributing your experience and ideas to improve our lead generation results

About You

This is a senior position, and previous solar experience is mandatory.

You will have:

- Proven experience in solar telesales, lead generation or appointment setting
- Experience speaking with business owners and commercial decision-makers
- The confidence to identify and qualify genuine commercial opportunities
- A proven ability to nurture leads and convert follow-up into appointments
- Robust telephone, written and relationship-building skills
- The persistence to maintain momentum without being pushy
- Excellent organisation and pipeline-management skills
- The ability to take ownership of targets, follow-up and agreed actions
- Experience using a CRM system
- A professional, positive and team-focused approach

Remuneration

$40 per hour plus Super

Paid annual leave

Paid personal and sick leave

3% commission calculated on the total sale price of commercial projects ON TOP of wages

Significant earning potential through high-value commercial solar and battery projects

Working Arrangements

Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am–4:00 pm from our Southport office

Friday: Work from home
