Casual Dental Assistant / Dental Receptionist Roles

Smile Craft Dental Tuncurry are looking for two friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic people to join our busy dental practice in a casual role as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist .

These positions are varied, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a rapid-paced environment, and is happy to switch between clinical assisting and front desk duties.

Availability on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is essential.

About the Role

Your duties will include:

- Assisting the dentist during patient treatment.
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments.
- Maintaining infection control standards.
- Greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service.
- Answering phones and managing appointment bookings.
- Processing payments and health fund claims.
- Maintaining patient records and general administrative tasks.




- Supporting the team wherever needed to ensure the practice runs smoothly.

About You

You'll be someone who:

- Has a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Is organised, reliable, and able to multitask.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Is confident using computers and learning new software.
- Has previous dental assisting and/or dental reception experience (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).
