Our client is a well‑established and respected engineering workshop specialising in precision machining and mechanical services. With a robust focus on quality and teamwork, they are seeking a reliable Electrical Trade Assistant to join their team.
What you will be doing
- Supporting qualified Fitters and Machinists with day‑to‑day workshop tasks
- Assisting with machining processes including lathes, mills, and drills (under supervision)
- Helping with fitting, assembly, and repair of mechanical components
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
What you will need
- Previous experience in a trade assistant or workshop environment (highly regarded)
- White Card
- Forklift Licence
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
