About the opportunity

As an experienced SIL home NDIS Support Worker, you will know that we need employees who are flexible to work AM and PM shifts. Availability on some weekends is a must. We have a rotating roster available that includes day shifts, evenings and overnights.

We need you to be able to assist our clients with their daily routines and skills, such as Community access, medication, personal care, domestic duties, etc. Manage accurate and detailed shift reports, incident reports and progress notes. Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Skills needed

- Experience supporting people with complex mental health and intellectual disability needs.
- Skilled in de-escalation and managing challenging behaviours safely.
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice and positive behaviour support.

- Ability to follow behaviour support plans and document accurately.Confidence in responding to crises and maintaining professional boundaries

Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid certificate + CPR
- Current Driver's Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
- Minimum certificate III Disability or working towards
