Casual Disability Support Worker position on a fortnightly rotation ofactive night, weekday, afternoon, split and weekend shiftsinclusiveofpublic holiday shiftsas required (remunerationper respective shifts in compliance with theSocial, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award [MA000100] 2022).

The following requirements also need to be satisfied in orderto be considered for the position:

- Own driver’s license and vehicle
- National Police Check
- Relevant qualifications in disability support or nursing (either completed or currently acquiring).

Successful applicants will join a small team of carers providing disability support exclusively for a person living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at their personal residence (30-40 minute drive from Ballarat CBD) as well as during medical appointments and social outings; the duties of which include:

- Providing physical assistance for all daily activities.
- Monitoring health of person being cared for.
- Attending to all general health & hygiene routines.
- Meal preparation and assistance.
- Performing basic household chores for person being cared for.
